Every path we take as our achievement, and the legacy continues since 1994.
The story of how everything started.
Ee-Lian Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd (ELE) was incorporated in year 1993 and commenced operations in 1994. ELE was founded by Teoh Han Chuan and Heng Sew Hua, when they foresaw a market potential in the plastic ware industry. ELE began operations in a shop-house located in Georgetown, Penang focusing on the trading of plastic wares under our own “elianware” brand.
ELE rented and shifted its operations to a shop-house factory situated at Sungai Lokan, Penang to expand its administrative, marketing and warehousing operations.
We planned to venture into the manufacturing of our own plastic wares by incorporated Ee-Lian Plastics Industries (M) Sdn Bhd (ELP).
ELE expanded its warehouse operations to the newly constructed warehouse in Bukit Minyak Industrial Park, Penang.
ELP acquired a vacant land in Bukit Minyak Industrial Park, Penang and construction of a new factory to house our production and warehousing activities.
We passed the stringent audit process and obtained the licensing right which allows us to produce and distribute certain plastic wares bearing the characters depicted in the TOM & JERRY animated shorts, the comic book series JUSTICE LEAGUE as well as from some of the children oriented Disney copyrighted DISNEY BABIES and BABY POOH characters in Malaysia.
The construction of our another two new buildings in Bukit Minyak Industrial Park, Penang was completed. Subsequently, ELE and EJ shifted our headquarters and administration offices for ELE and EJ as well as a manufacturing facility and warehouses to these new buildings.
The Group has also been awarded the right to produce and distribute household plastic wares which is housed under the ‘Disney’ and ‘Warner Bros’ brand name in Malaysia. Granted with the prestigious and globally recognised ISO 9001:2008 certification from BM Trada Certification Limited.
We established a showroom in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur to better serve our customers in the Klang Valley area.
